Parmesan Arugula Pizza ( No-Knead )

This is a classic Italian type of Pizza, the parmesan and arugula are added after baking.. it's delicious and incredibly easy to make. Have I told you that it is no-knead as well ?

The dough takes from 12-18 hours to rise, so it is perfect to prepare ahead. I made the dough the night before for the next day's lunch!
The thing is, in this recipe, as you will see, I haven't used neither sugar nor oil! interesting, ha?

Classically, it needs a pizza stone to have the best results, as regards the crispiness of the crust and all. As for me, I used an inverted baking sheet.. left it in the ovn while it was preheating.. and here are the results :)

Your Ingredients... only 4 !!!

Add your yeast and salt to the flour and mix

Add your water

Your  beautiful  shaggy dough :)

Cover it, and let it rest in peace for 12-18 hours.
After exactly 18 hours

See the gluten? lovely, ha?

Genorously flour your working surface and divide the dough in half

Prepare your topping, here I used simple tomato sauce with arugula and parmesan

Bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes! e VoilĂ

Parmesan-Arugula Pizza ( No-Knead)

Ingredients:

3 Cups bread flour.
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon active dried yeast
1 3/4 teaspoon fine salt.
Homemade tomato sauce Here
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Some fresh arugula
1/2 cup shredded parmesan.

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt and yeast.
  2.  Add water and mix until a shaggy mixture forms.
  3.  Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside for 12 - 18 hours. I left it overnight .
To assemble the pizza:

  1. If you are using a pizza stone, heat in a 200 c degree oven for one hour. Alternately:  A baking sheet may be used in place of a pizza stone.  Well oil the baking sheet before placing pizza on it.
  2. Divide dough in half.
  3. Carefully form into a circle and place on a pizza peel that has been dusted with cornmeal.
  4.  Spread half of the tomato sauce over the pizza.
  5.  Layer with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Carefully slide the pizza onto a heated pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes or until bubbling and golden brown.
  7. Shave your parmesan with a potato peeler, prepare your arugula
  8. When the pizza comes out of the oven, top it with the parmesan cheese shavings and arugula and serve immediately!

Hubby got me some gorgeous bell peppers, pretty, right?
